Meet Our Associates
PAT STEED brings twenty years of petroleum and industry experience. Pat began her career with Agway Energy Products in 1986 in Keene, NH. Through out her career Pat has held positions in customer service, accounting, residential sales, commercial sales, propane training and acquisitions. Pat has served as Chairperson of the Education Committee for the Propane Gas Association of Maine overseeing their Certified Employee Training Program training schedule. She is currently an active member on the Education Committee of the New York Propane Gas Association and the Education and Safety Committee of the Propane Gas Association of New England. Pat has been involved in the development of generic Operation, Maintenance and Emergency Plans that have been used by propane companies as templates for their own specific plans. Companies' throughout New England and other parts of the country have used these templates. Other projects that she has been involved with include Damage Prevention Plans, and more currently Public Awareness Plans.
KEN WOOD provides thirty-eight years experience in LP gas and pipeline gas. Ken worked 20 years at various positions for a gas utility with a propane business. He spent the last ten years as the company V.P. and general manager before moving on to become Vermont PSD's Gas Safety Program Manager. He has been a member of the National Fire Protection Association, NARUC Gas Safety Sub Committee, National Association of Pipeline Safety Reps., New England Pipeline Safety Reps., Vermont LP Gas Education & Safety Committee, and an associate staff member of the Transportation Safety Institute as an LP gas trainer. Ken has co-authored a supplement to the NFPA Handbook on jurisdictional LP gas systems and was a member of the committee that produced the Training Guide for Operators of Small LP Gas Systems. He has helped investigate gas incidents resulting in fire and/ or explosion and carbon monoxide poisonings. Ken Wood is one of the instructors at the New England Institute of Fire Science teaching the relationship of propane and other gases during fires to aide in the investigation process.

Since founding Education Training & Safety Associates LLC in 2001 our members have been providing quality instruction for Certified Employee Training, Operator Qualification Employee Task Training, Hazmat Training, NFPA Codes 54 & 58 classes, HAZMAT new employee and 3 year refresher training, Emergency Response training and Continuing Education Classes.

We have been active with the National Propane Gas Association and PERC in developing and teaching pilot classes in the revision of CETP. We continue to be active on committees that benefit the propane industry.
